I ve only just become an association member , and to be honest I am just getting to grips with the system for posting attatchments . the first time I attempted it I cocked it up completly,,but I take your point

Many thanks for your comments demil, This chap was,nt released until 1948 ,he was pre war allgemeine ss in sonder kommando sachsen ,which I believe went on to become part of the guard unit for buchenwald ,thuingen , this unit was involved in the sudetenland occupation ,and this chap was awarded the ist oct medal with prague castle bar so the chances are he was pre war thuringen as well as tk standarte 7 , nord, and finally gvb kind regards rick
