Hello Doktor,
I´ve never seen a SS Dog Tag with a Skull stamped in and believe me, I saw a lot of SS Dog Tags. So this is really a stunning scarce Piece
I presume it´s from a very early SS Totenkopfstandarte..

WOW!! Never seen one like that before! Is this form of dog-tag in any reference works - dog-tag books etc? What is the background of these?
Early war? Prewar? Normally when a skull is embossed on almost anything 3rd Reich, people are used to running the other way.
