Is it possible to find out the numbers under the ink with help of photoshop/UV/negative... etc?

Looks good to me from what you show, but why not showing the entire page 22 here.

Is there no Bandkampfabzeichen in Bronze entry ?

At a first look it was if the 2 for the EK was changed into a 1, but it is just a strange 2.

Most often they knew how to destroy those numbers very well in those days.

Sometimes it is possible to remove a part of it with a sharp scalpel, use an ink remover, pencil eraser (the very soft version).
Keep it in front of a bright light to have a better look at it.

Someone tried to do some work on the first stamp on page 21, without a positive result.

But most often nothing works at all.........

Eric-Jan, many thanks for your wonderful answer. I am looking to buy this one. It could be EK I or EK II as the number is a little bit strange. I think he qualified himself immediatly for the Silver one as could happen with the Nahkampfspangen.

This is the small version of page 22, I didn't recieve a clear one yet. No problems here also I think.

Well it happened more often, but still strange to see such a white open space on page 22, don't have a clue for the reason for it can be.

Back to my post # 2.

I still think that it must be an EK2, I see no other EK2 entry on the pages you show, so it is just a strange 2.

          So far so good !

            One more

Many thanks for the answer, yes, let us stick with the EK II. Maybe the experts can mention why they let a space there , maybe for non combat awards?

Seems that the one you want to buy is overloaded with entries.

Now I see also a Pistole 08 and a Maschine Pistole entry.

Thinking about it and due to your own answer I think that it is possible that they left some space for the so called "flower war" medals, besides the Oct.38 medal that is already entered there.

Page after page that Soldbuch is getting better !

Is there of photo of the man in it, are all pages present ?

              Waiting for more.........
