    Wallet Documents SS & HJ

Picked up this wallet last fall (Vet Bring Back) and just now going through it. It all seems to belong to Gerhard Schmidt. Don't know anything about German documents at all. Looks like HJ & SS documents. Can someone please tell me something about them. I will post some of the documents.

If you see any other documents you want scanned let me know. Could these be the papers of a Hitler Jugend that went into the SS.

The letter is the biography (resume) of Gerhard Schmidt born on March 11, 1927. I assume it was written (by him) for acceptance in the SS

You have a very nice group for one person which spans his time from the Hitler Youth to the SS. He apparently never saw any combat as he was at the SS Unterführerschule Radolfzell. Would it be possible to post some of the later pages in the Soldbuch. It is also not unusual that the Hitler picture in the later SS Soldbücher is taken out-this is not the case in yours and is a plus.

                          nice group!
