Stalingrad Convolut with both IC after War

I want show my new convolut was little but I like it very much , the soldier fight in Stalingrad and got both IC after war for " Minen räumen " and I think he lost his leg by this job

Very nice. As the EKI entry is signed by a doctor, it suggests he was wounded during mine clearing and i think was quite possibly the reason for his EKI.


Seeing the name of Hjerkinn mentioned for one of his training courses made me smile. It's still a military training area today and a place i know only too well from my time in the British army.

Yes Simon that is the self was I think , maybe he lost his leg by this action and got the Ek1

Very nice grouping, REDVIPER.

This is very interesting - both ICs after 8th May 1945.
