        Very nice!
How do you know that its Pz Rgt 7? did you got it straight from the family?
I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

Rick, the replacement section for Pz Rgt 7 was Pz Abt. 7 and after researching it a bit more this is from Böblingen (Für die Ersatzgestellung des Regiments war die Panzer-Ersatz-Abteilung 7 in Böblingen zuständig) "Die Abteilung wurde am 29. August 1939 in Vaihingen, Wehrkreis V, aufgestellt.

All a bit complicated but needless to say they were initially stationed in Stuttgart-Vaihingen and later in Böblingen.

Rick, I know, unfortunately we will never know unless I can get information from Berlin with the tag number.

Oke, too bad.. would have been very nice
If you got contact with the family, you can ask permission from them for info from WASt.

Well, I wouldn't get too bent out of shape... not that big a deal.

That's a GREAT score, Jim... I just love the tunic removed/worn tabs, straps, signals patch, soutache and eagles - more than likely all from the same uniform! You got very lucky with this little score! Maybe you will have more luck with WaST, but even if you aren't able to figure out exactly which Regiment the soldier served with it's still a spectacular find

                  Congrats

                  Rob

                      Hello PzV,
I agree with Rob, regardless of the name and action of the particular soldier, it is a wonderful, complete panzer find!
Congratulations and thank you for sharing,
                      Curtiss

Curtis, thanks, I especially like to find the tabs and shoulder flaps in black and the breast eagles are nice also. Normally we only find smaller grouping like this one which I found yesterday at the local flea market.

                        best regards,

                        Jim
