Also the Lapplandschild was awarded through Panzer Division Norwegen. The FP Nr. stamp however belonged to 40503 - 17. Batterie, Heeres-Küsten-Artillerie-Regiment 971 which was station at Kvalsund, Norway.

Glad to hear you all enjoyed looking at the scans and reading the write up on Buss's military and combat career. I really like this set for many reasons, and I'm extremely glad I was able to acquire it. It's great that both books were able to stay together (it also makes researching much easier.)

I can't say I've seen many SBs or WPs to M.G.Ski Brigade "Finnland." Outside of what I found on "Lexicon der Wehrmacht" and the other usual sites there doesn't seem to much more detailed information readily available. I'd really like to learn more on the Brigades activities from 1943 through 1945 so if anyone can help point me towards some books or websites with more info I'd be most appreciative.
