    Some quick things:

    Its a replacement Wehrpass.
He got this wehrpass at 10-08-1943 but went into service at 01-10-1938.
He went from Schütze (soldier) to Oberschütze, to Gefreiter and then Obergefreiter (corporal).

He was trained on the weapons: K98k, LMG34 (MG34 without tripod) and the Luger P08.
He also was trained on something i cannot read and driving a horse drawn cart.

Last unit he was in was the Staff kompanie of Grenadier-Regiment 453.

That Regiment was part of the 253. Infanterie-Division.

I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

I don´t know what happend to him, but he left that unit on 17 Januari 1944.
Could be anything.. KIA, MIA, WIA.. Need to see the other pages for that.

He was born 10 May 1914 in a town near Aachen.
His name is something like Kurt (max) Pesold.. can´t fully make out his last name.
