    My new dog-tag

    Hi guys,

    I have just bought this dog-tag.
    I have translated the dog-tag as: Gebirgs Artillery Regiment 111 (in fact existed, Second Gebirgs Division ).

    But the battery number ?


    Any help is appreciated and many thanks in advance for your replies.

        Hi Michele,
        Wonderful dogtag. It never had a batallion number stamped on this example, which is all right. Every unit did things differently. The other number is the individual soldiers' s wehrnummer.
