Fallsch. Aufkl. Abt. 12 Soldbuch KIA Normandy.

    Hello,

Here is my new find : a small grouping from a member of the Fallsch. Aufkl. Abt. 12 ( Reco unit of the Meindl FJ korps). The gefreiter Günter LINDERMANN is died the August 20, 1944 ( in the Falaise gap). He is buried in the German military cimetery of ST ANDRE DE L'EURE in Normandy.

A great thanks to my Friend Herlé .

    Thanks, David

        Hi,
thanks David for your kind words!
i thinks the most interesting is in front of your eyes...first page, look at the first ErKm crossed....
the proof (another one) for those who don't believe some unit have for limited time ErKm with "Fallsch...." in full letter... not only mob number!!! i won't say more about these ErKm because fakers are around
        regards

        Herlé

Very nice Soldbuch, David (I would love to eventually add a Normandy KIA Fallschirmjäger Soldbuch to my collection!) It's interesting that there are no stamps or signature on/under the photo, but it appears to have been there for quite a while (at least from the pictures provided, anyway.) I'd imagine that there is someone here who can help provide you with a picture of his grave marker... Daniele's provided me with two or three for my Normany KIA books and they complement the books quite nicely.

            Thanks for posting this one!

Nice documents, indeed ! I beleive I have alreday seen them somewhere recently ...
Is the Fj. Abz in Stoff reported in the book ? For the photo of the grave, perhaps I will be able to do that in the future. Be patient.

So, as often, the Fallsch. Abz. i. Stoff is not reported.
