    Hello

It is from 13th coy (Anti Aircraft) of some sort of reconnaissance or cavalry regiment.

    Might be from Kavallerie-Regiment 4, or Kavallerie-Schützen-Regiment 4

    Best regards, Fronti

      Hello

      Back to your question:

Flak is a general term for all sorts of anti aircraft cannons. (2cm and above)

The anti aircraft coys of the infantry regiment had normally anti aircraft machineguns. Out of this reason, they were named Fla (Flugabwehr).

The Heeres Flugabwehrtruppe are dividet into Flak Bataillone. Their members are personal of the heeres Flugabwehrtruppe. (weapon colour red)

The soldiers of the 13th Fla coy of a infantry regiment are members of the infantry, with white weapon colour.

      Best regards, Fronti

Hey Fronti what's up with you
This tag is clearly coming from some Scheinwerfer Abteilung. An anti-aircraft searchlight unit. I guess it was 13 Batterie (perhaps Heimat) Fliegerabwehr Scheinwerfer Abteilung 4 of Luftgau III.
        Regards
        Al

          Hello Al

The slight cold made me mad in my brain. (Or is it some sort of mad cow disease ?)

          You are right !

The dogtag is from the 13th Batterie (III. Abteilung) of the Flak Regiment 4
The 11.-13. Batterie were formed as searchlight units in the III. Abteilung of the Flak Regiment 4.

It is absolutely uncommon, that a Flakunit used the abbreviation "Fla".

          Best regards, Fronti
