can anybody help me with this "cover"....is it legit and what was it for as the eagle is looking to the left?

This is a normal private purchase holder for the Wehrpass. You can find these with the eagle looking left or right depending on manufacturers variations.

Hi,

be more patient. It's Christmas and most of us have other things to do than browsing the forums ;-)
Here are 3 of my Wehrpasshuellen. I know of another variant just like yours but in in dark green with the eagle on it.
So now I must look for the red one to add to my collection ;-)
