      Very nice!!
The fella was born in Sudtirol, Muhlen am Taufers (Brixen), and resident in Linz (very likely an "Optanten" for the Reich in 1939).

I saw the Dienstpass that is the subject matter of this thread on the dealer site and upon doing a Google search for Unternehmen "Frühlingsfest" I found this thread.
I was pretty tempted but managed to talk myself out of buying it. And then just for something to do to pass a couple of minutes I thought I'd have a look through the scans of the Polizei Dienstpass/Soldbucher already in my collection to see if I had any for the same unit and found that I had this - notice the mans name!

Needless to say I couldn't resist the Dienstpass any longer.

                          Congratulations Kevin !

So the two Tasser booklets are re-united again, together as they once were during the war, great.
