I think that it's Oberst Hans Korte who sign this document.

          Hello

I don`t think so, because Korte take command after 1944.

According to The Wehrmacht At War by Andris J Kursietis, Hans Korte commanded the 13th LW-Feld Div from 1st Dec 1942 to 1st Oct 1943 followed by Hellmuth Reymann from 1st Oct 1943 until 1st Apr 1944 when the division was disbanded, so Korte does indeed fit the time frame of the citation.

Here is his RK details & a photo...http://www.das-ritterkreuz.de/index_...archword=korte

..and his WW2 career (details courtesy of Axis Biographical Research Website, which shows a discrepancy with the dates listed in the book but still within those for the citation):

            Group-Commander in Bomber-Wing 225 then 51 (01 Nov 1938-21 Dec 1939)
            Department-Chief in the OKL/RLM (21 Dec 1939-22 May 1940)
            Group-Commander in Bomber-Wing 55 (23 May 1940-15 Aug 1940)
            Commodore of Bomber-Wing 55 (16 Aug 1940-31 Jan 1941)
Chief Of The General Staff of Air-Region-Command I then Luftwaffe-Command South-East, later Commander Crete (01 Feb 1941-30 Nov 1942)
            Commander of the 13th Luftwaffe-Field-Division (01 Dec 1942-01 Nov 1943)
            With the Staff of Air-Fleet 1 (02 Nov 1943-03 Jan 1944)
            Commander of the 1st Paratrooper-Division (04 Jan 1944-21 Feb 1944)
            Commander of the 2nd Flying-Division (22 Feb 1944-10 Sep 1944)
Commanding General and Commander of German Luftwaffe in Greece (11 Sep 1944-02 Oct 1944)
            Führer-Reserve OKL (03 Oct 1944-09 Mar 1945)
Commanding General of Luftwaffe-Catch Staff West and of Military-Police-Command West (10 Mar 1945-08 May 1945)
In British Captivity (09 May 1945-31 Oct 1947)
            Released (31 Oct 1947)

Interesting that he was primarily an aircraft unit commander. Makes you wonder how he must of felt when he found out that he was being assigned to command a field unit!

                    Hello

Yes, you are right. It is my mistake !

I had only a look at the commanders timetable afte the division was transferred to the heer as 13. Feld-Division (L).

Korte was the divisional commander after it was transferred to the heer, again.

                    Best regards, Fronti
