    Is this stamp likely to be a fake?

    Without seeing any other pages / entries, and going for that one and only entry I would say that it isn't a original stamp.

      12./ SS-Regiment "Westland". 12./ normally is in III. batalion.

          SS-Verf. Tr. stands for SS-Verfugungstruppe so it does expalin a lot - especially early Westland stamp. Regards
