Soldbuch - VGD CCC

Hi here is a nice soldbuch I recently got from Barry, basically worked out a fair deal for something he wanted back (the last few years). I typed his last name for a search and at the first item is the article about his career and explanation of his entire soldbuch. Luck!

A nice one again, too bad it is a very late issue.
I love these CCC-sheets - does he have CC-days in the west? Can't read the
last ones properly.

I think in the Vogesen, since this regiment was there during that time!

Just curious...

Is the story about Kumpka on that reenactor site an accurate, first hand account taken directly from Kumpka himself, or is it the result of someone who got a bit too carried away with their creative writing skills and fabricated a story based around what is really just a late-war replacement Soldbuch filled out in Feb.1945 with very few entries made thereafter? Seems to me like there's an awful lot of embellishment going on..........

Yes, I think the conversation is probably re-created. I didn't find a website for Die Neue Feldpost to see just what kind of organization it is.
