    A true stand up guy & member of our forum... Jochen1000

    This may not be a typical post for the Soldbuch/Wehrpass forum, but I had to post this little story here...

    Today I logged into my PayPal account, and found that somebody had sent me a payment. Thought I must be going crazy, because I didn't remember selling anything!

    A bit of background info, a little while ago I bought a very nice little grouping, a Soldbuch & Matching ID disk from Michael (Jochen1000), he sold it to me for a very fair price, and even paid for super-fast shipping to Canada on his dime...

    So today, I see that he has sent me a payment, so at this point I was a bit confused. Here is the message he sent with his payment:

    Hey Rylan,

    I thought about it. The soldb. I sold to you was not cheap and you are a young collector ... so here you have half your money back ... but now it should really be a very fair deal! :-)

    As soon as I read this, I was blown away... and had to let everyone know what a great guy he is I don't even feel right taking the money, because I thought it was a good deal as it is... I will have to pay it forward . Attached, is a picture of the grouping I got from him. All I can say is, thank you very much to Michael!

              Great story to share. Too many times all we hear is the problems and the negative. We know that these things we collect will all come and go, it is the people and our relationships that remain.

                Thanks, well the intention was really not to get my own thread here.

                I just got some nice soldbücher recently and some of them were really priced
                fairly as well. So I made a little adjustment to the one of Rylan also.

                Hey, it surely helped to further improve a good collectors-friendship - so it was
                definitely worth it

                And now enough of that ... lets move on to see some nice soldbücher!!!!

                  Oh, is it a tale??
                  A real pearl as gesture and way of life...this is one of the real meanings of the word "gentleman".
                  This makes me happy due makes stronger my position feeling that in the world there are still person who care about what they do in the name of honesty and ,most important thing, firendship and Michael is for sure one of them!
