Next, a Flakhelferin (Flak Assistant) who was authorized to carry a pistol. Her U.S. discharge certificate says that she is suspected of having a venereal disease. Incidentally, in soldier's lingo, these female auxiliary personnel were referred to as Offiziersmatrazen (Officer's Mattresses). The Ausweis includes her dog tag.
And my personal favorite, a stenotypist who worked at the R.L.M. (Air Ministry). She served there from 1934 to 1945, so I am sure she saw the fat guy walk by her a few times.
