Hello everyone.
This wehrpass has been in my collection for a couple of months now. It was my first wehrpass + the first wehrpass I've seen 'in person' back then. I bought it as a close-to-emtpy wehrpass, so the price was quite low. The death notice was given with it as a free gift, so I'm lucky with that.

This wehrpass belonged to Hubert Aengenheister who served with the 'vetr. Kompanie 40'. He was born on the 21st January 1913 in Loikum (part of the city of Hamminkeln), which is located about ~15 kilometres from the Dutch-German border. He served several months in the Heer in 1936 as a conscript (?) He rejoined the Heer in July 1939 and during his training period at Insterburg (nowadays Chernyakhovsk, Kaliningrad) war broke out. He served during the Invasion of Poland in September 1939. On 6 September he was heavily wounded due to an ambush(?) during transport (train?) at Dobrzankowo (Flügsüberfall auf Dobrzankowo). During his transport to Grudusk he died at 2.00pm on 6 September 1939 and was buried at the 'Przasnysz-Grudusk street' aproxiametly 10 kilometres north of Przasnysz (during German occupation renamed in Praschnitz). He was survived by both his parents and an unkown amount of brothers and sisters.
Hopefully everything is correct, if not, please tell me. My German isn't that good.
A general question(!!): Can anyone tell me to which regiment/army 'Vetr Kompanie 40' belonged?

The cover: on the red line is written 'Gefallen am 6.9.39'. At the right there's also something written in red which is now unreadable. I can only recognize '19' and something like a '4'. Does anyone know what they normally wrote there?

Death notice 1: Can anyone tell me which rank he held? Because I can't find it anywhere in the Wehrpass. Hopefully someone can tell me from his photograph in uniform. If the photograph is too small, just tell me and I'll try to adjust it (somehow the picture messes up when I enlarge it).
Death Notice 2: No questions, but a small note: The name of the town of Dobrzankowo is misspelled on the death notice into Drobzankowo! What a horrible mistake if you ask me.
I love the amount of information concerning his death on the card!
