Help Decode Dog Tag

Hello all,

I picked up a German dog tag at show yesterday and I was wondering if anyone could help me decode it. I do have an idea after looking at a WWII German abbrevation guide that is in one of the sticky threads but, I want to be sure.

It it marked: 2.ST.KP. JNF.ERS.BTL.512

Rather than post my wrong guess at what I think it means can anyone help me out?
