Soldbuch Pz Jagd - Nice photo

Some real nice entrys in this one. Too bad it's a replacement buch. Looks like he was barely with his new unit and he was wounded. I couldn't find any info on 'Emil'. But the slip of paper with the 21 (L) is a good clue that he was probably in the Kurland area.

Can you please post a large, close-up image of the portrait photo showing the picture, stamps and staples?

I hate to say it, but from this scan it would appear that the photo is a post-war replacement. Is there any trace of the stamp on the portrait photo?

Dismissing the LW uniform and cap, the staples, wear and size around the staple holes on the photo and SB cover, and total lack of any stamp on the photo leads me to believe that the original photo was removed, and then replaced - post-war - by someone looking to "increase the value."

It appears that the ink on the corner of the photo came off on page 1. Seems to line up with the photo.
