I doubt if he were anyhow fighting partisans in Lodz/Litzmanstadt area. The reason for this is that there were hardly any partisans in that area :-)

Great soldbuch, thank you for posting. It is extremely interesting to see how much trouble you could get into for just saying something in a pub! My goodness, can you imagine after a couple drinks with friends the things that we have all said! I am sure all of the armies of the world would be in jail.
