    Is this grouping unusual?

I've just goT a grouping fOR 1 person.

It contains a KSIZECZKA WOJSKOA Which is filled in and stamped up from 1936 to 1939 to a Anton Paues Wolosczyk

That name might not be accurate, I can't make it out, I will have scans at the weekend.

I looked that up on google and thought, 'oh, a Polish Military I.D book, thats different'

But then I come across an Arbeitsbuch (A Deutches Reich one, not an Auslander one) for Anton Paues Wolosczyk again, working in Berlin in Febuary 1940

Then a Wehrpass dated 1944 for Anton Paues Wolosczyk, issued in Berlin.

In the Wehrpass it states D.R for Deutches Reich as nationallity, but where he is born is deffinatly a Polish place but I can't make it out.

His Father has the Surname Bergman and his mother Lastok.

Just got a few questions on this guy,

1 Why did he serve in the Polish Army, then be allowed to work in Germany during the war, then be allowed to join it's armed forces in 1944? Is this unusual?

2 Why are is parents second names likely to be defferent from his?

    Thank you very much,

    Joe

The correct name of the guy shoud be

Anton Pawel Wolofczyk. He is born in Godullahütte(?) / Katowitz.

His father: Johann W. Bergmann, his mother: Maria w: nee Lastok. Lastok is her maiden name

            it´s absolutely normal.
the vast majority of ethnic germans served in the army of his native country before were transfered to wehrmacht or waffen-ss.
