The documents are interesting. Stamp of an Ortskommandantur.

Since little while Kennbuch make surface on the market. It is very likely that it results from soviet archives. You are in the country, what do you think of it ?

Mr. Weitze proposes four Kennbuch in his catalog at present.

And two Kennbuch OD

All these documents are sold at the expense of 350.-Euro.

Is it possible to know the origin about your documents ?

Hello Polux,

Mine Kennbuchs from Russia (I from Ukraine. As far as I knew they are withdrawn from archive of KGB.
In the near future I shall receive some more similar items, and as Ersatzsoldbuch one of Russian hiwi.
You collect documents of east volunteers?

I know of a few Kennbücherin collections....all seemed to appear in the last 2 years.......and all are quite empty or not too many entries...

I would also be interested in seeing/hearing of your other items!

I think, that Kennbuch's about which you spoke the majority of those, have appeared from Russian archive of KGB. Probably, two years ago someone has found an opportunity to withdraw Kennbuch's (and other documents) from this before inaccessible archive Soon I shall show some more documents of east volunteers.

Together with shown I Kennbuch's am still a map of area in which these served OD-Mann's. On it area between Smolensk and Vyazma. She has been confiscated from them at arrest.

Indeed, I collect the documents relative to the German army (Wehrpass, Soldbuch, diploma of decoration, etc...) but I look more particularly for the documents relative to the foreign volunteers, with a preference for the Osttruppen.

As Ian (hello Ian ), I possess some interesting documents. From your part, do you possess documents relative to the foreign volunteers ? Living in Ukraine and not in Russia, saddened of this mixture, do you meet during your researches of the interesting documents on your inner market ?

Except the Kennbuch presented in this article, do you think that were other documents able to take out soviet archives ?

Hello Polux,

I only recently started to collect documents, therefore meanwhile at me very few interesting items. (in Kiev) very seldom it is possible to get from us documents Osttruppen, basically they come from Russia. Some time back I have got access to archive of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and saw there very interesting documents and reports of interrogations of east volunteers. But, unfortunately, these archives are not liable to destruction yet and consequently I did not manage to take away from them soldbuch's and another...
Shortly, I hope, that I can show you some more interesting documents.
