        Ss Soldbooks

        Hy everybody,

i have seen all these hungarian SS solbooks in Germany shortly after they wee found, i recall seing them all in a Officer metal case, total about 180 Hungarian SS solbooks, only a very few had ID photos in it, most of them were EM.
I saw them before they got shipped to the US. The story i heard is that where found in a cellar in the Czech republic, this could have been approx in 1990.

          Hi,

Do you have any additional info on these soldbücher?

Someone says lots of hungarian waffen-ss materials are in the Chech Republic (Prague). If you can access the Military Institute at Prague, please send me an e-mail: jhardi@axelero.hu

          Many thanks,

          Janos

                Hunyadi Soldbuch

In the mentioned officer's chest found in those days there were a number of KZ Wehrpasses. Most of them were in bad condition as they were water damaged, but I think that these were the first ever to come on the market.
