    Dutch Volunteer Dogtag

    Dear All,

I am trying to learn as much as I can about Dogtags, but I find it very, very hard.

I saw this dogtag on the side of Detlev (he has a lot of dogtags lately) and I was wondering is this an original (ps I do not have this dogtag)

Looking to the letters etc, I would say yes, but...am I right?

    Many thanks in advance,

    Rene

    Greetings,

IMO fake, should be zinc one, wrong letters, blood group on a wrong side, looks like a fake. I saw original from 13th kp with Gen Seyffardt on it numbered 2, nothig similar with shown one here.

    With all the best.

      Dear Guerilla,

First many thanks for your reaction

I agree this patern is not the same as the "normal" Seyffardt dogtags, ut on the other hand, I know that this kind of Dogtags (material) were found around Narva.

So again I do not know

      Thanks and best regards,

      Rene

        You are weolcome ,

And I'm talking about tag found near Narva too. It is still has nothing similar with shown one here. I can show you tag from 2nd kp, it's a bit different, but letters, material and "Gen Seyffardt" on it is totally same, like I saw from 13th kp.

Not looking good for me. Wrong letters typical for fakes.
