SS Dog Tag Opinion, Please...

Hello everyone:

I've been thinking of buying the SS Dog Tag which is currently on the e-stand. I'm only asking to get second opinions, since I have had the bad luck of buying more than one bad one in the past. I'm in no way intending to insult the seller. I agree that the example he posted from the reference book does look exactly like the one he is selling. I also believe that he has researched it quite well himself. That is exactly the reason that I am so interested in this one. However again, I have learned that it's better to ask before I buy, and see what other people think. I'll ultimately be asking lots ot others anyway, and I'd be better of doing that before I buy. I know that at best, dogtags can sometimes be very controversial. As long as I can get an appoval here, I can surely live with that.

Well I have bought tags from this seller before, including SS tags. Good seller and I believe authentic.

I actually don't see anything different. I'm only politely asking for second opinions, as everyone else does here. I always generously take the time to give my advice on this forum whenever possible, and I just like to think that I can expect the same from others.

Chris persanally I like the tag and even had a plan to buy it until I find that one...

Chris, no offence intended.. I like that first tag and believe it to be a good one. I have just misread your openning statement and thought you saw a difference in the tags..
I don't presently collect tags anymore but I'd be happy to have any from this thread!
