      That is interesting information Ian.

      Wonder if the Navy entry fits somehow with my earlier post mentioning him possibly having gone through the Lazerette at Helmstedt first?

        Exactly....if you check the leaves, he was actually on convalescent leave from 19.2.1945 until 7.3.1945!
