    Does anyone know what theaters of battle the tropical equipment page in Soldbuchs was used in?

      Anywhere where it was hot!

      Italy, Greece, Crete, Africa, Tunisia....Mediterranean, Balkans, some parts of Russia in the summer etc.etc.

      If it warranted tropical clothing then it was issued..........

          There are many different types of inserts depending on theatre and what sort of kit was issued. If none were to hand then the clothing was simply written in, either on the clothing pages or a seperate "blank" page.

          Are you interested in seeing examples or is this just a general question?
