I think this is the right forum for this kind of stuff. Been going through a box of old odds and ends I picked up over the years and will put this group on the estand, but wanted to run it by you guys first. Its an identity disc and photo of Unteroffizier Gerhard Langebeck. The photo is the postcard type and has some writing on the back and looks like a 1946 date. The disc is aluminum and in great shape. Owner looks to have put put his name and address on both sides of the disc, one on the front and the other neatly on the back around the edge. It also appears to have been worn as the 2 holes on the top of the disc are worn smooth on the insides, but the bottom hole is as sharp as the day it was drilled.
Ofcourse I would like opinion on originality, as discs are not my field of expertise and I picked it up many years ago. Looked on some dealers sites and saw that discs were going for 25 Euros. With a photo, I was thinking of putting it up on the estand for $50 including shipping & paypal, does that sound about right?
