    help with ID tag

    Ive recently purchased a ID tag and need help with the info on it. Here is the info:

    H. FZ. PARK III
    1349

    Can anyone please help me with this and tell me what unit this is? Sorry im unable to post a pic of it.

    Looks like:

    Heeres-Feldzeug-Park III (Army Ordnance Depot No. III).
    "1349" is the guy's Stammrollnummer (personal number).

      But could also be Heeres Fahrzeug Park III.

        You are right - Here are the possibilities from Tessin:

        Kdr. der Kraftfahrparktruppe III (Berlin-Grunewald, 1939-45).
        Feldzeugkommando III (Berlin-Wilmersdorf, pre-war to 1945).
        Heeresfeldzeugpark III (*28.4.1942 in Ukraine für Versorgungsgebiet Süd; †15.9.1944?).
        Feldzeug-Park-Btl. III (*29.11.43 in Schepetowka/Ukr., then Jaslo and Demba in Poland, †15.9.1944 - this Btl. provided the officers and men that operated Heeresfeldzeugpark III).

        Unfortunately, Tessin does not provide much information for any of these Stäbe u. Einheiten.
