What a fantastic Wehrpass that spans one SS man's career, from pre-war years with the SS-VT to war's end. There are some great entries in there, not to mention all those unit combat entries. AND the awards to back them up!

Congratulations , I noticed this on DN last week & (for somone who had never looked at a WP before) I found it truly fascinating.
I see that he was awarded the 4 & 8 year SS=Dienstauszeichnungen...is there any indication as to the dates of these awards?...are the award entries in chronological order?

This Wehrpaß would appear to have belonged to the same Hauptscharführer of which Detlev sold a photo & ribbon bar yesterday.

Very nice. One of the earliest VT Wp's I have seen with continous service to one unit. He drove vehicles for the staff of Deutchland which is one reason why the odds were a little better at having made it. No gaurantee of safety though as after the invasion of Russia he was wounded several times. Then during 1943 still driving even picked up a PzAbz in bronze and EKII for cumulative actions over a period of time.

The SS FOR 4 & 8 years awards was only stand on the Wehrpass side , without any date

I ask Detlev for the photo and field clips but I reply one day to late ( I was very busy on work and so I comes a little bit to late )and so he sale this photo and fieldclips on Update on friday

But this was no problem for me than of the photo he have not the EK2 nad CCC on and the was for me the importants awards
