Any one has this Book and can tell me if its complete and a good source?

Hi Daniele, I do not have Tessin, but I have Kannapin and I am pretty happy with it. The price is fair I think,

This set of books has nothing to do with Tessin!

Tessin gives you a brief breakdown of all units from Battalion strength upwards....the Feldpostübersicht lists all field post numbers in numerical order and the units that they belonged to....it does not breakdrown of the unit and/or geographical location!

So Having the KANNAPIN is about like Having the Tessin CD right?as in with just FpNr?

Kannapin lists Field Post numbers only and there respective units by date and in numerical order.

Tessin lists units and their structure, location, details etc. from 1 to whatever...

They have nothing in common except they will have the same units but you need both if you want to cross reference a FP Nr. to where a unit was and vice versa....nothing like having the Tessin CD!

If you want to proper research your ID papers like SB and WP well you will need both Tessin and Kannapin!
