The unissued SS Soldbuch looks like a modern copy!

The SS Soldbuch has issues as you say he is Totenkopf but wears SS runes.....also the photo and staples to not leave an impression on page 1....I doubt they go together!!!

Yes there are stamps...what unit does it say then?

SS runes are not worn by Totenkopf members!

Incidentally for your information......SS Soldbuchs did not have photos in 1940!!

Hi,
If this guy died in 1940 maybe the photo was put on in 1941 and the book returned to his family.The photo might also be from his pre-Totenkopf days.
All speculation,but he is not around to say why.Cheers
