1./ SS-T-A. R dogtag half

I've got this tag on the way from Peter @ CG:

Would you consider that a good price for a half-tag?

I haven't seen any TK dog tags (full or half) surface in a couple of years, so I figured I would snatch this one up.

I am currently trying to research more into this unit / my tag, hopefully I can find out whom it belongs to for the soldat has a low roster #.

Any info that anyone has would be most appreciated.

So far I've gathered that around late 1939 the 1./ SS-T-A. R was to eventually form into the SS-Division Totenkopf commanded by SS-Gruppenführer Theodor Eicke.

Hi No One, I Think You Paid A Nice Price For That Tag. I Have Picked Up A Few Original Totenkopf Tags From Peter Over The Years.
They Always Seem To Be Halfs.
Perhaps Mr Dogtag Will Chime In?

Well, it's an original tag and the price is rather about to be ok.
Not a bargain but still not a fortune. I would say - a standard price I would pay for such a tag.

And one more thing.
The only question I would ask myself and probably also the seller - where did he got this upper halve from. I don't know the seller, but if most of the tags are top -halves - well answer is pretty obvious.

thought that myself taggy still, i have several relic lids, sad but a fact in our game
