WP Entry - Kriegsgefangenenabteilung

Hello All,
Last weekend I bought wp / sb Unteroffizier with the unit entry, 20.11.44 - 11.3.45 Kriegsgefangenen .. Abtlg. Koenigsdorf. I've manage to discover Koenigsdorf was by / near Nueremberg and the Pow camp there was Stalag XIIID, but no more. I was wondering if anyone has any idea who the internees were i.e. Brit / American aircrews, allied soldiers or perhaps others, any information would be welcome.

Did you search using Google? There is supposedly a web site with details on all the Oflag and Stalag camps and who the POWs were.

Hello Larry,
A sensible tip of yours, I'd been trying to find infomation over German Google, its a bit sparse. Switched to English Google tonnes of information. Thanks for taking the trouble to point me in the right direction.
