The 6 june 1944 arrived and 20 days later the City of Cherbourg is surrounded by the Americans.
On the 25.6.1944 Logan gets his last award, the EK 1cl. from his Commander Oberleutnant Rudi Gelbhaar.
The day after Oberleutnant Rudi Gelbhaar was awarded with the Knight cross and then he was taken prisoner on the 27.6.1944

The 27 June 1944 Cherbourg fell. The Batterie "HAMBURG" with its 4 240mm cannons was destroyed and I didnt find out yet what happenned to Logan exactly.
these pics were taken by the americans after they took the Batterie "HAMBURG".
