        Hello,

        Imho the "Der Fuhrer" stamp doesn't belong on this type of document.
        Also I very much doubt that the actual ss-stamp is original.

          Hi,

          As mentioned last night earlier on the e-stand !

          The "Der Führer" stamp does not belong in such a Reisepaß.
          Such bookltes were checked by the Police, Bordercontrol, Embassees etc, and not by an SS-Unit.
          The stamp looks like one of those fakes from the East, wrong eagle, font, and the black ink stain/spot-print under the eagle.

            A great shame that someone has messed up a perfectly decent/intersting passport.

            I will never understand why folk do this - - - it has rendered the item almost worthless now.

              It's called greed, Dan, greed. Sad as it is, the great mass of those who buy and sell militaria are only interested in turning a buck (churning some quid) and it matters not to them how it's done.
