    Dog Tag, FJ?

    Hi all,

    A friend of mine has recently purchased a German ID Tag with the following numbers stamped on it: 217 464 101 As there are only numbers I assumed that it could be a Fallschirmjager ID, apparently the item was sourced around the Falaise area some years ago.

    Any help appreciated.

    101 is the peronal nu8mber of the soldier.
