I've a Jacket with a Feldpost nummer:

It says: nr 2397 wh

thats all

I hope someone can attach a Unit to this...

I would suspect it is the guys initials and roll number (from the dog tag).

Sadly initials with a roll number is not re-searchable. You don't know which Regt he was from to start with.

You can buy a CD ROM with Feldpost numbers. Detlev sometimes has these in stock. It is very useful.
