    Proof of the use of explosive bullets by the russian and a curiosity

    Here we have the wound page from Gefreiter Ernst Eder, we can see that he was wounded on August 22nd, 1.943 in Many by a bullet that went througt his leftshoulder, for this wound he received the Black Wound Badge on September 24th. The interesting thing is his second wound, again his left arm was hit, but this time by an explosive bullet that damaged his upperarm and hand, this time was at Novo-Sergejewka on March 13th, 1.944. This time the wound was fatal and he died ten days later, on March 23rd.

    Sorry, wrong pic, the previous one was to ilustrate the curiosity, you can see that his death was on March 23rd, but he is listed as a member of 2./Div.Fus.Btl.(A.A.) 17 till April 17th, almost 24 days after his death.

    Also I want to ask some help, where this unit combat, the clerk in this company was the most laconic one I ever seen, he just made three entries, garrison in the French coast, service in Russia and again service in Russia, not too much info.
