I just add to my collection a 4 / SAN. ERS. ABT. 17 german Dog Tag.
The others markings are "A" and "1169".
I am looking for all the informations about this german medical unit (order of battle, etc.)

1169 is the personal number, the A is the bloodgoup


Sanitäts-Ersatz-Abteilung 17

1. assembly:

* 4.10.1939 in Wien, Wehrkreis XVII, out of the Sanitäts-Ersatz-Kompanie 17, which was constructed on 30.8.1939.
Since April 1943 Sanitäts-Ersatz- und Ausbildungs-Abteilung 17.


2. assumption:

Wehrkreisarzt XVII
