    panzer id tag

    hi, this is my very first post so here gos. i just received an id tag and wondering who out there could help me decode it.

    3/ Panz. Abw ERS. Abt 6 , directly underneath these letters are three numbers "221" . near the left (looking at the tag)corner is one single capital "A" sideways and on the backside is the same capital "A" sideways thats the only ting on the reverse side

    it appears to made of aluminum and retains both halves. it appears to been worn for some time due to the necklace holes are very worn.

    any help would be most appreciative. than kyou

    further on the basis of your description i would say Number 221 is the personal number of the soldier and the letter A in the left corner is the blood group of him.
