    RSHA Wehrpass

I acquired this wehrpass (see additional scans) in the early 90s in Arizona and I have looked at it under a UV light and everything appears to be authentic. I wanted to share this with everyone and also ask a few questions about this individuals assignement. He was born in 1899 and he had some military service in 1939/40. In 1941 he transferred to the RSHA. From there he moved to the RF SS staff and finally to the personal staff of RF SS. In 1942 he moved to Reserve II status. As you will see, he also had at least one visit to Auschwitz. The validation stamps in his wehrpass are from the Liebstandarte Adolf Hitler.
Question: Was he a civilian or military?
Question: Would he have worn a uniform?
Additionally, any insight into the duties and organization of the RF SS organization would be greatly appreciated. Thank you iall in advance.

    Bill

I think you can stop there with the posts on his SS service.....as he didn't have any and that has clearly been faked, enhanced or whatever you want to call it.

              Regards,
              Ian

                          Hi Bill,

I posted in mid post (7) that you could stop posting but you missed that.

Unfortunately any reference to SS in that book is fake.

Little clues give it away even if you do not know anything about German writing/script/Sütterlin etc.

He was transferred to Ladwehr I 25.5.1937 (at 37 yers old) which means he is between 35 and 45 and has completed military training. Then 15.8.1942 he is transferred to Reserve II which is for those under 35 that have completed short term military training and discharged!!

                          The rest is pure fantasy.....

Page 4 block 10 is fake, so is page 6, units after 15.4.1941.........Auschwitz..........well who knows but seeing as the rest has been added!

                          /Ian

                            Hello

I am not the Wehrpass professional, but there are some barbarously mistakes in it...

                            Page 4:
                            - Streifendienst is no Schulbildung. (school education)

                            Page 5:
                            - RSHA 1.Polizei Division (There was no 1st Polizei Division and no RSHA in any other Division in the Wehrmacht)

                            Page 6:
                            - in german it must be "angenommen für das Reichssicherheitshauptamt" and not die Reichssicherheitshauptamt. It is a grammatically mistake.

                            - A Leibsatandarte stamp for the RSHA ????

                            Page 12:
                            - Same mistage with RSHA an 1. Polizei Division. (See page 5)
                            - SS Führungshauptamt IV Grüppe. It is wrong. In germany it must e Gruppe, without Ü.

Very very bad mistakes. This mistakes are not made by a german counterfeiter...

                            Best regards, Fronti

Even though it hurts to find out it is a fake, I am glad I paid very little for it. Whoever did it, must have done it for enjoyment rather than profit.

                              Thanks again for the review...Bill
