I have one but no picture at the moment:

              O 153
              1.A.Kol.III/A.R.1

I also have the complete uniform and documents from Hauptmann Kurt Knochendöppel, Chef Stabsbatterie III/AR1.

Do you have items from AR1 to show me?
              Cheers

I only have a grand-uncle (Iron Coss 1st class), who served as VB in the second and the fourth Batterie. ;-)

                Best regards.

P.S.: Do you know the picture with soldbuch and dogtag of 2./A.R.1 at the Ulric of England Dogtag book ?

                      Edit:

There are many mistakes in it. (among other things, there is at the minimum one grave robbery dogtag of the Totenkopf division in it)

                      And many, many mistakes...

                      Best regard, Fronti

                        Hi Fronti,
actually I think the "grave robbed" Th. Eicke tag ( if you mean this one) proudly shown in this book as a genuine one, recovered with the ring is an old St.Petersburg fake - please examine some other tags in this book and you will find a lot of similarities.
Showing fake tags as grave robbed ones in a collectors reference book - sounds like a kind of perversion
                        O tempora, o mores!

                              Hello

                              And at page 20:

                              9./J.R.32 = Jäger Regiment 32
The Oberleutnant was KIA at 5.9.1939 in Poland.
The author only have to use the Tessin, than he will see, that in 1939 there was no Jäger regiment 32, only the Infantry Regiment 32.

If the author is an expert, he have to know, that the gernans uses the J. as abbreviation for great i. (I) = infantry

The abbreviation R.d.L.u.Ob.d.L on page 39 is "great", too.
Reichsminister der Luftfahrt und Oberbefehlshaber der Luftwaffe.

Is this the dogtag of the "big Meyer" himself ?

Second dogtag on page 44 ist good for laughing, too

                              Fl.Pl.Kdo.A26. VII Memmingen.
                              Flieger Pionier Kommando... Great joke...

Or on 45 the RGG... I have 2 RGG dogtags. Both are genuine ground dugs from myself. Thy look totally different...

and so on, and so on.

If I could, I would bite me in my own ass, for buying these book.

I have learned something: One learns by experience.

I thing a person with half of the experience of you or me, would know more about german dogtags as the author actually knows.

                              Best regards, Fronti
