        Nice Soldbuch ! I fink that the Panzer-Kp. Sardinien is the first name of the Panzer-Abt. Sardinien (with two Kp.). This unit was created in may 1943 and renamed Pz. Abt. 190 on july 1943.

          Very nice.

          It is interesting to see the training entries (Panzer driver).

          Also looks like a projectile went through the book at the lower right corner.

          What units was he in later? Any decorations?

            I have a couple of Soldbücher to members of Division Sardinien and they all have the same Italian security check on page 15.

              Not a unit with a great combat record, but still an interesting sideshow. Similar to Panz Abt Norwegen.

              If you check Hitler's Situation Conferences, you will find some discussion of the armor being assigned to Sardinia and Corsica.
