    Feldpost Number help

    Hi,
    Does anyone know the Feldpost-Nummern for the following units, as I am currently trying to fill-out a Soldbuch for reenactment?

    7. Schiffstammabteilung (Jan. 1943)
    Marine-Nachrichtenschule Mürwik (March 1943)
    1. Schnellboots-Schulflotille (July 1943)
    1. Schnellbootsflotille (Aug. 1943)
    1. Marine-Funkmess-Lehr Abteilung (Dec. 1943)
    3. Marine-Funkmess Abteilung (March 1944)

    Why do you need FP Numbers for a Soldbuch ?????



    7. Schiffstammabteilung (Jan. 1943) = Not in FP Overview

    Marine-Nachrichtenschule Mürwik (March 1943) = Haven`t got a FP Number (Schule in germany)

      In the KM Soldbuch a lot of the stamps and unit designations are supposed to be FPNrs according to the instructions in the repro book I have, such as on the transfers page.

        Units in the homeland or rather schools, training units etc. did not have Feldpost numbers...only when they left the Germany would they have such a thing.

        I have not checked above units but I would imagine they were all in Germany...

        Combat units and those units outside of Germany had Feldpost numbers.

          Thanks. I think the 1. Schnellbootsflotille was in Italy at the time and the Funkmess-Abt. was in France, so would they have FPNrs?
