Hello Everybody,

Somebody offered me this German Arbeidsbuch.
Now I want to ask your opinion. Is this a fake of a real one?
It looks real to me, but I'm not sure.

No problem with these booklets. There are many of them and often cheap, so no efforts was made to produce these lately. Always look out for RARE entries that could be added afterwards as U-Boot dockyard helper, driver of AH etc. '-) But your man worked in a shoe factory and in the building industries.

So if you like it buy it but do not pay too much.

My opinion - and it's only an opinion - is that it's worth about 10 euro, tops.

EDIT & p.s.: As Peter said above, there are some occupations that would make these books more attractive. ALSO - if it was a famous personality's book (Knights Cross winner, or something like that) it would be worth a bit more.

I would state for these 2nd model (with large eagle with swastika) labor passes 15 euros is a normal price. 10 euro in my opinion will be the price for the first model with "Reichswehr" eagle and the little swastikas in the corners.

Off course everyone is free to ask for items what they think it is worth, and collectors should pay what they think it is worth.

I had one (first model) of the house keeper of Field marshall Model. That did much better (won't mention the price here).

Definitely a branch of third reich collecting that is still affordable for starting collectors.

Nothing wrong with it, never seen them faked either. There are tons of them, every German worker had one. 20 EURO would be an OK price.
