It's difficult to do anything other than give a broad opinion on value because APB docs\groupings only rarely turn up, silver APB even less so and panzer silver APB groups with a fantastic photo album....

If you're really unsure as to what you want for it perhaps putting it up for auction with a reserve might be the way to go.
Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

Yeah, so they can then proceed to split it up to maximize their profits

Are you looking to sell it? I think the true value here is in the historical significance of the documents themselves and the fact that they managed to stay together all these years. It's really hard to give a accurate estimate in dollars, but unless you're going to sell it off, that's not what's really important here. You have a 100% original grouping to a Panzermann who served with a unit from which very few soldiers survived, was awarded the PAB in silver (which confirms he was an actual Panzer crewmember and participated in armored combat) as well as the Bandkampfabzeichen in bronze and silver, his E.K. and not to forget the photo albums... This is a set any of us would be simply thrilled to own, and I think we have a hard time placing a dollar value on it because it is so valuable "historically" so to speak Like Simon said above, you're looking at at least a few thousand EURO. I for one would be willing to pay considerably for this. Should you ever decide to sell it...

Jetzt verstehen wir! Im ersten Post haben Sie geschrieben "Ich verkaufe dieses konvolut von Familie". Deswegen die bestimmt tausende PMs und so.

NOW we understand! In your first post you said "I sell this from family". That's the reason for the thousands of PMs.

The group is NOT for sale. No problemo.

                  Hello Hank;

This is real live and real euro's.
                  To bad!
If you like it or not, it doesn't matter even if you are a moderator here.
If such a group comes on the market and a dealer gets it I know it is going to be split up.
                  But who fault is that?
                  ....
The one that splits it up or the the one that ask the dealer to split it up?
Something to think about, isn't it.
If all the forummember would remain silent that have asked a dealer to split up a group; it would be a quiet forum.
Don't forget that I have been on the other side (the one that is selling is items not buying).
"Dear Peter I'am only intrested in the photoalbum not his award documents can you please split up that group",... etc.

                  Cheers,
                  Peter

I'm sure Peter merely misunderstood me; I was merely translating Chrish's words - not for sale!

For a long while I was puzzled by a photo in one of my albums. The album came from a member of Pz.Rgt.35 and I could not find any trace of that regiment having Beute panzers. Having just chanced upon this thread, I see that "my" photo appears in the photos shown in post #9 of this thread! It is a huge coincidence because I already had the photo scanned and ready to post so that I could ask if anyone knew the identity of the unit. Well, thanks to this thread, I now know! Of course, it's nice to think that you own the one and only photo...

                      All the best,
                      Jason

                      PS. Here's the photo...

Seems like a classic case of soldiers having prints made for friends or a unit\PK photographer selling prints within the unit.
