the newest addition to my RAD collection,a RAD dienstauweis to a long time RAD officer (12 years service!) who served in Russia with a RAD unit and was awarded several miltary awards while serving as an officer in that RAD unit!comments/questions welcome!

I have a couple of RAD Dienstausweis on the way with similar awards.
Did he get the awards whilst serving with the RAD or did he actually get them whilst serving in the Wehrmacht? More often than not, they were "leaders" in the RAD whilst actually at the front and went back to RAD service on leave and/or convalescing...as can be seen in another thread regaring SA and combat awards.

this is the 4th one ive found with officers who have served activelly in RAD units on the Russian front.I have a dienstausweis on the way from a RAD officer who was a doctor at a hospital in Russia (not sure yet if it was a RAD hospital or not) for 2 years before getting transferred to a hospital in france-the other book is actually a WP (both purchased from another forum member
)with 4 years of russian front RAD entries-(its the only WP ive ever seen with extra pages added for RAD service!)the man was a officer (unterfeldmeister) and zug fuhrer i beleive in bau units (ill post scans when they arrive)

i just recieved a few new dienstausweis-here are scans of the doctors RAD dienstausweis,he didnt win any combat awards just a RAD 4 year long service award and KVK II with swords!Comment
